LI2Day Walk recently donated $6,500 to support breast cancer research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. LI2Day Walk has supported breast cancer research at CSHL since 2004, with donations totaling more than $305,000.

LI2Day Walk’s continued support of research at CSHL is part of its mission to fund outreach services, educational programs, and research to benefit women and their families affected by breast and other cancers on Long Island. CSHL also partners with LI2Day Walk to award scholarships to Long Island high school seniors who are survivors of breast cancer and/or other women’s cancers, or reside with a parent or guardian who has had breast cancer and/or other women’s cancers.

LI2DAY was organized to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer and other cancer research, to benefit cancer sufferers, survivors, and their families, and to support organizations that are participating in such efforts. For more information, visit li2daywalk.org.
