Anthony Fauci at “HIV/AIDS Research: its History and Future” (2016)

In October of 2016, CSHL hosted a meeting focused on HIV/AIDs research which brought together some of the most important researchers in this field. The long list of participants included Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) from 1984 to 2022, president of the task force established in 2020 to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, and chief medical advisor to the president during the Biden administration.
