Being a graduate student at CSHL offers unique experiences unavailable at other institutions. At most universities, grad students are lucky if they are allowed to travel to one scientific meeting per year. At the School, however, we have full access to all the scientific meetings on campus! This allows us the opportunity to keep abreast of all the latest developments in our fields of research, and to meet researchers from all over the world who come to CSHL to present their work. Of course, if that’s not enough for you, the School also provides a stipend for travel to off campus meetings each year.

The CSHL campus is absolutely beautiful. There’s plenty to do on campus- everything from yoga to volleyball. We even have our own beach! In addition, the town of Huntington, with all its restaurants, shops, parks and bars, is just 5 minutes away."
