Description

“Dedicated Dams and Deadbeat Dads: Sex-differences in parenting behavior in mice” with CSHL Professor Stephen Shea.

Shea will share his research on mice and their parenting behaviors. In the spirit of celebrating Mother's Day, Shea shares his studies with the audience on how mothers and fathers in the mouse world respond to the joys of parenting. He focuses on the special circuits in their brains that make them act differently. By exploring these circuits, Shea hopes to reveal fascinating insights into the unique ways moms and dads care for their young ones in the animal kingdom.

See Industry's menu for a list of drinks for purchase.

Note: CSHL does not provide food so please plan ahead.

Please Note: Seating is first come, first serve. Standing room is available once the seats are filled. Reserving your ticket on Eventbrite does not guarantee you a seat at the event.
