Description
CSHL Professor Chris Vakoc's research focuses on how cancer cells alter gene expression to gain their destructive abilities and how these changes can be targeted for new therapies.
Vakoc will explore how cancer cells lose their "identity," turning into misfits who forget how to behave. Could emerging therapeutics actually teach them to return to normal, healthy functions?
See Industry's menu for a list of drinks for purchase.
Note: CSHL does not provide food so please plan ahead.
Please Note: Seating is first come, first serve. Standing room is available once the seats are filled. Reserving your ticket on Eventbrite does not guarantee you a seat at the event.
