How does natural selection affect the genome?

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

For the last few decades, biologists have been sifting through the human genome in search of those parts that are most important. CSHL Adam Siepel explain how natural selection and evolutionary history can tell them where to look.

In a recent paper, he and his colleagues take this a step forward, using the same concept to asses how effective other sifting methods can be.
