The latest edition of Harbor Transcript is now available online. Harbor Transcript is Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory’s (CSHL’s) official magazine, published twice annually by the CSHL Communications team. Ever wonder what a year of lab life is like? This Special Annual Report edition includes our full recap of 2022.

  • CSHL President & CEO Bruce Stillman sees the Laboratory as a global hub for scientific expertise and a powerful launchpad for early-career scientists. In “Bringing bold visions to life,” he talks about the importance of investing in these scientists and their leading-edge research.
  • Speaking of leading-edge research, “Science leads the way” offers a look back at some of CSHL’s biggest discoveries from 2022.
  • Not just a research institution, CSHL also excels in science education. “New ideas, new knowledge” highlights some of our educational divisions’ latest success stories.
  • In “A successful transition,” CSHL COO John Tuke discusses how the Laboratory has bounced back from the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Of course, none of this would be possible without the continuing support of our donors. “Flexible funding is crucial” showcases how this support enables the Laboratory to thrive.
