Activity description:
Evolution is the process of biological change over time, and small changes can have a big effect! With the help of our Ancient Ancestors skull wall exhibit, we’ll review some of the evolutionary changes that shaped our anatomy and resulted in who we are today. After taking this journey through time, we will take a look inside and observe some of the structures from the Homo sapiens skull.
In this activity, you will:
- learn about the ancestry that led to modern humans;
- explore evolutionary differences and the effects of these changes over time; and
- observe some of the features and structures of a Homo sapiens skull.
Participants need:
- Worksheets (sent through email) and a writing utensil.
