Appropriate for ages 10-13, with one adult chaperone required.
In the 1970’s the development of agarose gel electrophoresis revolutionized how DNA molecules could be visualized. This technique uses electricity to separate DNA fragments by size as they migrate through a gel matrix, and it is now used for genetic testing, research, biotechnology, biomanufacturing, and much more.
