Activity description:

How do we study the differences between us without sequencing our DNA? Join DNALC instructor, Elna Gottlieb as she investigates variations in human traits through observation and analysis. We will learn fun methods for collecting and recording trait data, as well as mapping out the probability of inheriting certain traits by using Punnett’s squares!

In this DNALC Live session, you will:

Discuss the definition of traits and how they relate to DNA
Observe different human traits and explore a method to quantify them within a population
Analyze the inheritance of certain traits by using Punnett squares.
