Activity description:
How are traits inherited from generation to generation? Join Megan in this introduction to Mendel’s laws of inheritance for students in grades 5 through 8. By studying inherited traits in pea plants, we can understand how our own traits are passed down over generations. A discussion of dominant and recessive traits will encourage students to study themselves as well as family members in this exciting activity.
