Description

Join CSHL Assistant Professor Ben Cowley, for a talk on Neuroscience: “Seeing through the eyes of a fruit fly.”

Cowley will focus the talk on his group’s work on modeling the fruit fly's visual system. He’ll give a pitch of why studying visual systems other than our own can lead to insights about our own (human) vision and say a little bit about how we are modeling the fruit fly visual system with modern models of artificial intelligence.

Please note our new location at Industry! See Industry's menu for a list of drinks for purchase.

Note: CSHL does not provide food so please plan ahead.

Please Note: Seating is first come, first serve. Standing room is available once the seats are filled. Reserving your ticket on Eventbrite does not guarantee you a seat at the event.
