Venki Ramakrishnan, research leader at the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, England, Nobel laureate, and author of Why We Die: The New Science of Aging and the Quest for Immortality, joins in a conversation with David Jeruzalmi, professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at The City College of New York and the CUNY Graduate Center, about the possibilities for extending life and asking, must we be mortal?
