Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory’s Base Pairs podcast was selected as a finalist for the Webby Awards People’s Voice prize and the Webby Award for best Science and Education podcast. The podcast series is hosted by Andrea Alfano and Brian Stallard who tell topical stories highlighting the power of genetic information—past, present and future.
The Webby Awards is leading international award honoring excellence on the internet, and is presided over by The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences. Last year, The Webby Awards received 13,000 entries from 70 countries and all 50 states. Base Pairs was chosen amongst all entrants as one of the five best Science and Education podcasts.
