Why do people get cancer? It’s a question that humanity has asked for centuries. But given the sheer number of environmental dangers that all of our cells encounter every day, and the unavoidable DNA errors that happen every time one of our cells divides, perhaps the better question is, “Why don’t we all have cancer all of the time?” Our bodies must be able to prevent and tackle cancer very successfully, right?
