Description
Join CSHL Assistant Professor Lucas Cheadle, for a talk on Neuroscience: “How your immune system talks to your brain.”
The Cheadle lab found that what we sense, and the world around us, can change how certain cells in the brain, called microglia, behave. These changes and external factors help microglia work with nearby neurons to strengthen some connections between them and get rid of others. So, in layman’s terms? Your immune system works hard to ward off danger, but it also plays a large role in keeping your brain happy, healthy, and strong.
See Industry's menu for a list of drinks for purchase.
Note: CSHL does not provide food so please plan ahead.
Please Note: Seating is first come, first serve. Standing room is available once the seats are filled. Reserving your ticket on Eventbrite does not guarantee you a seat at the event.
