On June 22, twenty counselors from the North Shore Holiday House (NSHH) camp took the program’s first tour of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory as part of their program to see the various educational and cultural institutions of Long Island. The counselors, some of whom are studying science at college in their home countries, were taken through the Laboratory’s historic campus by Watson School graduate Paul Masset and student in residence Tzvia Pinkhasov.

“North Shore Holiday House Counselors from Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Poland, Austria, Ireland and New Zealand visited CSHL to learn the latest research in the US,” said Janice Rochstein, the Director of Administration of the NSHH. “The counselors were impressed with DNA and cancer research as well as the beautiful campus.”
