Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) proudly hosted over 250 golfers at its 28th Annual Golf Tournament held over two beautiful spring days on June 13th at Nassau Country Club, and on June 14th at Piping Rock Country Club.

Between the two sold-out days of golf, exciting raffles and thrilling live auction, the outings raised a record-breaking $500,000 to support CSHL’s research and education programs. All of this was made possible by the participation of the CSHL Corporate Advisory Board (CAB), CSHL Association Board (CSHLA), and Eddie Chernoff-Golf Chair, Chairman of the CAB and CSHLA Director.

This year’s honoree was Frank DellaFera, CSHLA Director and Founder & CEO of Fera Pharmaceuticals. Frank discovered his passion in pharmacology after graduating from St. John’s University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. Frank and his wife Janet are proud parents to eight children and was joined by his seven sons, Blaise, Harry, Joe, Louis, Nick, Pierce and Quentin on the course. Frank joined the CSHL Association Board in 2018, and has been an avid supporter ever since.
