CSHL’s 22nd annual golf tournament raises $230,000 for research and education

CSHL’s Annual Golf Tournament took place at Piping Rock Club in Locust Valley, NY

On June 16th, 184 golfers took to the greens at Piping Rock Club for Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL)’s 22nd annual golf tournament. Run by golf chairman Eddie Chernoff, the outing brought in $230,000.

Trudy and Tom Calabrese—former CSHL Association President and founding CSHL Corporate Advisory Board member, respectively—were special honorees for the event. CSHL’s President and CEO, Dr. Bruce Stillman, praised their service to the Laboratory, saying, “Tom and Trudy continue to be true examples of what philanthropy and volunteerism can accomplish.”
