Greenhouse Control Set Points

Uplands Farm has three greenhouses that are used for growing plants all year long. The rotation is timed with three, four month growing periods. Set points vary with season but theses are the parameters that are achieved.

Maize

– 16 hour photoperiod 7:00AM – 11:00PM

– 78F (26C) set back to 65F (19C)

– Avg. % RH winter 54, summer 90

– Avg. PPF winter 300, summer 500

Arabidopsis

- 16 hour photoperiod 7:00AM – 11:00PM

- 69F (21C) constant

- Avg. % RH winter 54

- Avg. PPF winter 150
