Cocktails, Chromosomes....and CONFIDENCE

Join us for the next edition of Cocktails & Chromosomes, featuring CSHL Professor and neuroscientist Adam Kepecs, Ph.D....

Wednesday, May 24
7:00 PM
Finley's of Huntington
Seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Please note that for this edition of Cocktails & Chromosomes, we'll be holding the event outside on the deck behind the bar at Finley's - walk in the main entrance up front and follow the signs!

Cocktails, Chromosomes....and CONFIDENCE

Confidence…it’s a feeling that turns thoughts into action. But how does it work in the brain? Dr. Adam Kepecs will talk about the neural circuits underlying confidence, how "humanized" mouse models of cognitive processes hold the potential for understanding what goes awry in the brain during mental illness, and give us a glimpse of what psychiatry might look like in 20 years!
