            <title>Golf Tournament benefitting the Dolan DNALC</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>The Dolan DNA Learning Center's (DNALC) 17th annual golf tournament was held on June 9 at Piping Rock Country Club in Locust Valley, NY.&nbsp; Among the top supporters were Fortunato Sons Contracting, Eppendorf, Motors and Armatures, Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty, H2M Group, New York Community Bank Foundation and Kean Development Company.&nbsp;&nbsp; Thanks to the help of the Corporate Advisory Board and golf Chairman, Edward Chernoff, this year's event raised&nbsp;over $100,000&nbsp;to support the many educational initiatives of the DNALC.</p>]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>On June 13, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) held its ninth “Women’s Partnership for Science” lecture and luncheon, an event that has become a summer staple among New York’s female philanthropists.&nbsp; More than 140 women gathered at Peacock Point in Locust Valley to hear an informative lecture on “Autism: Breaking the Code”&nbsp;by Alea Mills, Ph.D., a CSHL scientist who has received numerous awards for her work in the field of cancer research and who has recently turned her expertise in molecular biology towards understanding the genetic basis of autism.</p>]]></description>
